Structural Engineer Steel, Cable & Membrane Structures (m/f/d)
Your role with PFEIFER Structures
Design and size structural components, installation equipment, and erection sequences in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Develop cost-effective, innovative, and technically sophisticated structural solutions.
Provide technical support to the design team during the development and execution of projects.
Prepare technical reports, structural calculation documentation, and engineering design reports.
Review fabrication and construction drawings to ensure compliance with structural requirements and applicable standards.
Collaborate closely with internal departments as well as clients, architects, checking engineers, and external project partners.
Provide technical support throughout project execution, including manufacturing and site erection.
Contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes, with a particular focus on welding.
Your attributes
Initial experience in structural engineering is an advantage; however, motivated graduates and entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Solid knowledge of structural analysis and structural design.
Proficiency in the use of common structural analysis and engineering calculation software.
Good knowledge of the Eurocodes as well as relevant national and international standards and regulations.
Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, independent, and detail-oriented approach to work.
High level of responsibility and commitment to quality.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
